Bio

Emily Meredith Lewis is a visual storyteller connecting people to nature through art and animation. After living in a number of places, she now resides in upstate New York with her partner, Jeremiah (screenwriter and producer of horror films) and their dogs Cider and Miso. She enjoys finding inspiration living close to the Adirondacks and surrounding areas, which often reminds her of the Appalachian region she grew up in Virginia.

She has an Animation Certificate and a Natural Science Illustration Certificate from Rhode Island School of Design CE and is currently working toward a Nature Journaling Educator Certificate through the Wild Wonder Foundation. She is also experimenting with how to combine her interests and information she combines through research to produce her first post-RISD body of work.
